Who are we
NAMeC Team is a student association based at the IUT of Bordeaux, which gives a place where students can discover robotics. Each year, the team tries to participate in the Small Size League, a division of the international RoboCup where the goal is to enable small holonomic robots to play a football match autonomously, on a 9 meter by 6 meter field. Computer Science, embedded systems, electronics and mechanics, every pole of our team requires members of a specific field. It is an incremental work that improves on the existing progress for the futures participations.
The idea is to let students apply their skills while using robots without having to pay for all the components. Our team also works on promoting robotics towards younger generations, by participating to local evenements around robotics such as the Robot Makers Day or the RoboCup France Juniior.
